In the text discussion, Milo said that a textUnit would have an int for a unicode character, or it might have a Sophie defined constant for TEXT_LIST, etc. It was also said that this would not need to refer to images.

If all images are going to be externally anchored, then as you said, a user won't be able to select an image across a text run, copy it, and then paste it 200 pages later?
