= Known issues =

This build of Sophie 2 is a pre-release build intended for testing and demonstration purposes and consequently does not have all of the functionality of the full Sophie 2. The documentation explains which parts of Sophie 2 are not in this release. Some of these issues may be cleared up by daily builds, which are available on the [wiki:Download downloads page].

== Known issues on all platforms ==

 * Web sites using Flash don't work in browser frames and may make Sophie unresponsive.
 * Sophie's performance is better on computers when running in Java 6 than it is in Java 5; if your computer has both, make sure that you're using Java 6.
 * There are issues with some movie files and large resources.
 * Large video files can't currently be imported.
 * Autochaining creates new pages but doesn't yet respect layouts.
 * Parts of the timeline interface still work incorrectly.
 * Not all resources can be exported in their original formats yet.

== Mac issues ==

 * Currently, downloading a Sophie book in Safari may change the extension from ''.spbf'' to ''.spbf.zip''. Remove the ''.zip'' suffix; the books will open normally in Sophie.
 * The menu bars in the Mac application don't appear in the standard location for Mac applications.

== Windows issues ==

* An audio bug means that audio and video may cause crashes; this will be corrected soon.

== Linux issues ==

* There may be audio issues on 32-bit Linux systems.
