= Known issues =

This build of Sophie 2 is a pre-release build intended for testing and demonstration purposes and consequently does not have all of the functionality of the full Sophie 2. The documentation explains which parts of Sophie 2 are not in this release. Some of these issues may be cleared up in the daily builds, available on the [wiki:Download downloads page].

== Known issues on all platforms ==

 * Large text files may not import correctly.
 * Preview performance is low in some cases.
 * Some media formats may cause issues when previewed.
 * Text styles can't be saved and loaded
 * Resizing frames by dragging borders will currently crash the application.
 * The page resize halos may work incorrectly.
 * Playing more than one media stream may break the application.
 * Comment frames can't be saved.
 * Demonstration version of Sophie Reader running as an applet may crash your browser.
 * Grouping may break chaining and templating.
 * Text collaboration is at alpha stage and may be unusable.
 * HTML and PDF export do not work properly in some cases.

== Mac issues ==

 * Currently, downloading a Sophie book in Safari may change the extension from ''.spbf'' to ''.spbf.zip''. Remove the ''.zip'' suffix; the books will open normally in Sophie.
 * The menu bars in the Mac application don't appear in the standard location for Mac applications.
