I think the ideas are cool, try not to break the preview functionality though...

I think I get the design idea.

  • What will be the problems with the Page Preview Palette when implemented?
  • Try to find problems with the performance of this background thread, but may be there will be not any...
  • And there is one question... If the search (in this task) and something other is broken, and depends on another task to be fixed, then is that dangerous for the end of your iteration's code. I mean broken things can not go to trunk, so you should think of a way to have all things working by the end of the iteration and to bound the tasks your are doing if you are late with some of them...

Thanks for the notes, I answered them in the wiki page. I am still not sure I realize the code I have written, so please test carefully :)
