Filtering resources in Sophie is used for displaying resources answering to user defined criteria.

The resources can be filtered by:

• File type

• Meta data

• File name

Future:

• (optional) Text containing in the text resources

There are several actions connected with resource manipulation in Sophie:

• Resources are added to a Sophie book by dragging them into the Sophie Main Window.

• Resources dropped onto a page appear on the page and in the Resources Tab.

• Resources dropped onto the Resources Tab are added to resources but do not appear on the pages of the book. Such resources are available for use by dragging them from the library onto a page.

• Resources can be added by use of Import File or Link to File in the File Menu. Resources added by Link to File appear in the Resources Tab, but the file is not imported into the Sophie book.

• Resources are deleted from a Sophie book by selecting a resource from the Resources Tab and pressing delete key.
