6.2. Using audio and video on the page

When you've inserted audio or video into Sophie, it appears on the page of your book. Audio will look like this:

source:/branches/private/danvisel/sophie2-platform/doc/userdoc-images/RELEASE_9/AudioOnPage.png

Clicking the PLAY button will start it playing, and it will look like this:

source:/branches/private/danvisel/sophie2-platform/doc/userdoc-images/RELEASE_9/AudioPlaying.png

Clicking the PAUSE or STOP buttons will pause or stop the audio.

Video will look something like this:

source:/branches/private/danvisel/sophie2-platform/doc/userdoc-images/RELEASE_9/VideoOnPage.png

When the video is playing, it will appear in the white rectangle. Video imports as a 280 x 210 frame, which is almost certainly not the default size of your video; if you resize the frame to the actual size of the video, the video will probably play more smoothly.

Audio and video frames can be manipulated like any other frames: they can be rotated, resized, and given margins and backgrounds.
