1. Working with Sophie Server

Sophie Server allows you to share and download Sophie books through a webpage. Sophie Server is an application that can be deployed on any web server allowing the creation of a social network of Sophie books and users.

Not all Sophie Server functionality is currently implemented: it should be recognized that in this release, Sophie Server exists for demonstration purposes only. The demonstration Sophie Server can be visited here; however, this server is being used for testing and is not always running. You can also run your own copy of Sophie Server using the instructions here and then navigating to ​http://127.0.0.1:8003 or ​http://localhost:8003.

Note that Sophie Server is particularly limited at this point by the lack of ability to upload books. For this reason, each Sophie Server installation comes with a books for demonstration purposes.
