Sophie2 Overview
About Sophie
Sophie is software for writing and reading rich media documents in a networked environment.
Sophie’s goal is to open up the world of multimedia authoring to a wide range of people and institutions.
Sophie runs on Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems.

License
Sophie2 uses Educational Community License, Version 2.0. It is situated in the License section.
Requirements
Hardware/Software requirements are written down in the Requirements page.
Platform Structure
Sophie2 has three editions: Author, Reader ad Server. Each of them is separated in its own module (modules are development issue, so they are explained in "Development Overview" paragraph below).
The platform has currently two structures: source and runtime. Both of them can be observed in PLATFORM_STRUCTURE.
