• Define policy for dealing with missing resources
  • An image telling that the resource is not present will be fine
• Create a marker for linked resources (in the Page Structure and in Resources palettes)
• Make the Link + Copy to _files action default
  • For non-saved books resources may be copied in a temporary directory and later moved or copied on save. First is prefferable, because resources may be linked from removable media
• Create a "Book Package" extension - this should re-link non-relative links and put all resources in an archive, which is extracted to a temporary folder when opened
  • The extension for book packages may be "pack.s2"
