you should mention that one of the requirements is to create log file for the closing, because this is not part of any task. it's a good idea to give some direction about used technologies. the rest is fine.

Add links to the build server: sophie2.org:8080 and testing server: sophie2.org/s2s . There are various frame properties added for sophie 2. You can describe that we uses Jetty for web server and javaDB as database for the server. It is good to explain which technologies we use for implementation.

This was implemented, so it passes review, but some criticisms:

  • It would be nice if the new blog post appeared closer to the end of the iteration because appearing well after the iteration was finish makes it appear to the public that the project is delayed. This wasn't actually the case.
  • (related) If Ludmil is going to be editing the text for new blog entries, it might make sense to get text to him faster so that he has more time to work on this and doesn't slow things down.
  • (Minor) Would be nice if all the links worked so that the public could directly visit the Hudson build server and the SCS.
  • (Minor) There seemed to be a couple of formatting issues - a couple of paragraphs are stuck together which shouldn't be.

I've edited the textual mistakes & fixed them.

My main concern is that this is how the general public (that is, Mellon & USC) see Sophie right now - most of these people aren't actually going to download Sophie, they just want to see that work is coming along - and so this task is very important to the project as a whole. I'd be happy to give the next version of the blog entry a proofreading just to make sure that formatting and grammar mistakes are caught.
