I think the design is OK, but I'm sure there are more bound fields that have useless validation icons, you should find them and remove the icons setting them invisible...
Add all your ideas for renaming things and rearanging halos to the design.

So there are some problems:
- In the new skin the minimize book button in the title bar is missing, it is visible only after you minimize the book from the menu for example.
- Some text boxes and combo boxes (especially the fonts one) are cut...
- I like the fact that the alternative skin is removed now :)
