Download Sophie 2.0
Sophie 2.0 is released under the Educational Community License, Version 2.0.
Sophie 2.0 requires Java 6 or its equivalent. Please see the installation instructions for more information.
The current release is Sophie 2.0 test release 3
Release notes
New features
- Realtime collaboration through Sophie server (currently only one server book is available)
- Stickies are resizable
- Embedded books (linked and really embedded)
Improvements
- More stable templates
- Loading books with gradients works correctly
- Support for video files without audio in them
- Inserted frame becomes current and editable
- Ctrl+A selects all elements in the current scope
- Links are more stable
Known issues:
- Grouping may break chaining and templating
- Books with media cannot be saved and loaded
- Text styling cannot be saved and loaded
- Text collaboration is at alpha stage and may be unusable
- HTML and PDF export do not work properly in some cases

Daily builds
