Analysis

Overview

The aim of this task is to ensure that all of the titles of layout elements that appear in the application are:

  • Part of skin definition
  • Written in proper English

Task requirements

  • Export all of the titles defined in skin
  • Check that every layout element has defined title in the skin
  • Change the titles where needed
  • Optional: Tune remaining tooltips, see Related section.

Task result

  • New tiltes in code, discussed with team.

Comments

  • Left Flap and Right Flap are not useful terms; I think it would be better to call the left flap Structure and the right flap Contents. Actually, the way it's set up now it might make more sense to get rid of the flaps entirely and just use the tabs - the flaps are cutting into our horizontal space & the vertical space of the palettes and aren't particularly useful in and of themselves (besides being able to set their widths, which could be done via the tabs themselves).
  • Is there another list for all the content inside of HUDs? I assume those need tooltips as well.
